| Physical Appearance | Cowpeas are easy to grow in any type of vegetable garden. Dwarf and bush type, height 50-60 cm. Pods are about 30-35 cm long, dark green, soft, and fleshy. |
| Foliage Type | The leaflets are hairless, with the terminal leaflet symmetrical and the remaining pair more or less triangular to egg-shaped. The leaves are about 10 cm long and 7 or 8 cm wide. |
